National Bank of Egypt upgrades its software

In light of National Bank of Egypt (NBE)’s keenness on staying abreast of the latest software technology to provide cutting edge services to its customers, the Bank has upgraded its core banking system as planned during the period from 13 to 17 April 2017 (as previously announced).

 NBE reassures its esteemed customers that they may continue to operate their accounts with the same numbers that they have. NBE is currently in the process of sending statements of account for the period ending on 13 April 2017 to its customers to inform them of their updated account numbers according to the new software, which are also shown on ATM screens for easy access. The Bank also stresses that any transfers, cheques or any other banking transactions carried out using the old account numbers shall be automatically entered into the customers’ accounts with the new updated numbers.

 The new software enables NBE to provide various services which meet the customers’ needs with more flexibility. This includes upgrading “Al Ahly Net” service that will be reactivated and reopened for registration as of May 2, 2017. Customers are welcome to visit any of NBE’s branches to fill in applications for both financial and non-financial services.

 All customer service representatives at NBE’s branches and call center (19623) are happy to answer any inquiries from customers with an eye to providing top notch banking services that meet the customers’ needs and expectations.
